My little man loves to watch tv, most children do. I try to encourage him to do a range of things from playing games, playing with toys that allow for imaginative play as well as watch tv. I do think that some parents do worry a little too much about allowing children to watching tv. A little is a good thing as many of these children’s programmes are not only great fun for children but can be educational in various ways such as teaching about colours, shapes etc. as well as helping to instil a good set of morals. Paw Patrol is one of the cartoons that I don’t mind mini man watching and he loves it. I mentioned a great Paw Patrol game in a post recently that we got to to review and this time I wanted to tell you all about the DVD Paw Patrol Game On which will be coming out on the 22nd of May. If you have any fans yourself or have yet to introduce this great cartoon to your children then pencil in the date as it is one you will want to remember.
Our favourite rescue pups are leaping back into action in seven exciting, sports-themed adventures and rescues. The adventures include Ryder and Marshall forming a basketball team to help Mayor Goodway and Everest snowboarding to make a daring rescue.
There’s no denying the Pups know how to be brave whilst also having fun!
This colourful, action packed cartoon is great at keeping my little mans attention as well as reinforcing all sorts of positive lessons. It’s great to know that now at 2.5 years old he is taking in so much more and also developing a good understanding of what is happening in the cartoons.
PAW Patrol: Game On! includes the following episodes:
Pups Save a Basketball Game – Mayor Goodway needs a basketball team super fast so naturally she calls Ryder and the PAW Patrol for help. The pups become the Adventure Bay All-Stars and they will need everyone to pitch in and help if they want to stand a chance of winning including a reluctant Marshall.
Pup-Fu! –The PAW Patrol and the cute but mischievous kittens from Mayor Humdinger’s Kit-tastrophe Crew are both competing for their martial arts belts when they come across an ancient scroll that holds all the secrets. The scroll is stolen by no other than Mayor Humdinger and the PAW Patrol is called to help find and return it to Sensei Yumi.
Pups Save the Mayor’s Race – It’s the annual Mayor’s Race and Mayor Goodway is determined to beat the cheating and devious Mayor Humdinger. Mayoral contestants need to row a boat, swim and run a foot race to the finish line. The pups need to help Mayor Goodway train for the race and clean up Mayor Humdingers’ disasters.
Pups Save a Snowboard Competition – Jake and Everest are really excited about the big Snowboard Competition, until that is they look outside and see the course is completely buried under a blanket of snow. The PAW Patrol come to the rescue to help clear the course and save the Kit-tastrophe crew kittens who veer off-course and fall off a cliff. Everest uses her grappling hook to lower Ryder down the edge of the cliff and her snowboard jet pulls them back up to safety.
Pups Save the Soccer Game – When Mayor Humdinger challenges the Adventure Bay team to a soccer match, Ryder and the PAW Patrol are called in to play. The PAW Patrol players start strong but a series of mysterious mishaps jeopardise their chances of winning. The pups must work as a team if they want to win especially as Mayor Humdinger isn’t playing fair.
Pups Great Race – It’s Adventure Bay Race Day and the Pups are about to race each other all across the town to see who is the fastest pup. Alex unexpectedly shows up on his super trike!
Pups Save a Tightrope Walker – Turbot is bravely walking a tightrope, but seagulls threaten to ruin his act! Oh no, someone better call the PAW Patrol.
