After a very refreshing nap Mr Squishy woke up full of beans and raring to work.  After all, it isn’t every day that you get picked to work with Santa and try out some super fun Wow Toys.  Full of excitement he reached into the big box trying not to fall in.

DSC00231DSC00240Out came the next item a ‘Town Advent Calendar’ from Wow Toys (there are other advent calendars available too).

DSC00245DSC00314 DSC00319On close examination Mr Squishy decided that he would put Wow Toys statement ‘Toys that don’t break their promises’ to the test.

DSC00265 He lay on the box.DSC00252Tossed it around the room.DSC00279Knocked it onto the floor.

DSC00331Pulling down the front cover nothing appeared to be broken which was great to see.  He loved the clear, bold drawing of the Christmassy Town.  There were easy to open doors on the box part that looked very interesting.  Mr Squishy wondered what was behind them.

DSC00361Mr Squishy quickly realised that each number on the fold down play scene had a matching number on the calendar.  “Was this where each piece goes?” he thought to himself.  Placing each toy that came out of the calendar (there are 24 in total) on the corresponding number he noticed a Christmassy town toy scene appearing in front of him.  “Oh what fun” Mr Squishy thought to himself, “and educational too!” Mummy thought.

Developmental benefits:

1 – 2 years – Sensory stimulation and motor skill development
2 – 3 years– Learn to count by matching the numbers
3 – 4 years – Social interaction
4 – 5 years – Role-play & exploration

DSC00351And this goes here:

DSC00354Quick taste test, all ok here (non toxic paint is used) plus he was pleased to note there were no small pieces.  Mummy was happy that these toys were easy to wipe clean.

DSC00352What a fun Christmas world this was and Squishy knew his sisters would also love it too (this has been designed for pre-school years and suitable for children up to the age of 5).

There was even a fun limited edition push-along police car included as well as exclusive figures and a build your own tree and snowman.  Mr Squishy was pleased that the car worked straight away without batteries just like magic and meant he did not miss out on any valuable playtime.

Mr Squishy then had a thought, the policeman might like to go racing so he dug out the turbo twins cars that he had reviewed recently (click on the link and enter to win a turbo twins toy).  Interchangeable toys, what a great idea!

DSC00362Mr Squishy thought that this was such a super duper toy that the mummies and daddies that read his mummy’s blog might like one for their Squishy’s too!  So he asked mummy to speak to the very generous guys at Wow Toys and he is very pleased to say “dadda dadda” which roughly translated means that we are going to do a giveaway.  One lucky reader will win a Town Advent Calendar.
