My little ones love to do loads of different activities.  I do encourage them to get outside like I used to when I was younger but the British weather really does like to throw a spanner in the works as often as it can.

Not a problem though as mummy is always stocked up with fun items to keep them entertained.

Recently we got to try out two super FAb Lab kits, the Nail Art and the Glitter Tattoos from Interplay.

Nail Art

What girls doesn’t love doing her nails and this kit allows the user to get creative with designs which really is great.  The nail kit comes with:

6 coloured nail varnishes and one clear

1 bag of star nail sprinkles

1 bag of heart nail sprinkles

1 fine brush for detailing

1 foam toe separator

1 emery board

1 instruction manual

This is easy enough to use and is suitable for ages 8 and above so is perfect for my girls who love painting their nails. The added embellishments in the pack give it that bit more of a wow factor for little ones.

Glitter Tattoos

Who doesn’t love glitter!!!  Glitter and a tattoo combined of course makes it even more exciting.  This set includes:

27 cool stencils

4 brightly coloured glitters

1 pots of glue

1 soft paint brush

1 stiff paint brush

1 instruction manual

How to use:

Choose your stencil.

Remove the stencil from the card.

Place the stencil where you want the tattoo and then paint on the glue.

Add the glitter.

Gently peel off the stencil.

See our video here:

Again aimed at ages 8+ it’s great that I can leave the girls alone with this as they can do the tattoos for each other and their brother.

Overall Views

These are great kits for children and the best part is that they can use these without adult supervision at the ages they are intended for making them perfect for my girls. They are also a great way to keep children entertained during play dates.  There is also a Fab Lab Hairlights kit for little ones to try their hand at.  Each kit retails at £9.99 which is reasonable given the number of items included.
