Shopping appears to be the number one past time for many but I am finding that my work commitments are so high that I don’t get much time to go to stores and browse like I used too.  I’m not complaining I set my own work load so only have myself to blame when I have no time left for myself after writing my reviews, spending ages taking photos, cooking, tidying and cleaning, helping the mini ones with homework, going here and there to activities etc.  I am slowly beginning to see the way forward for myself is to buy more products online.  My goodness the time it saves is wonderful and they make it so easy to send items that don’t quite fit back that you can’t really go wrong.

I was aware that Boohoo did a range of adults clothing having been around and watching them grow over the years but but recently they launched Boohookids.  It’s great to have a stylish kids brand literally at my fingertips especially as I have 2 little fashionistas and my little man is beginning to get fussy about what he wears too.  Now as Christmas is coming up I realised my youngest didn’t have a party outfit, opsy, silly me so I took a look over on the Boohoo kids site and found the dress section as she is such a girly girl that nothing other than a dress would do.  I was amazed at how much choice there was, it was simply fantastic and I am going to admit we sat and looked through the dresses together for a considerable length of time which was quite nice and she was allowed to pick out a dress of her choice.  Now clearly this little Miss has fabulous taste as she looks stunning in the dress she chose (even if I do say so myself).  The dress itself has a nice soft and smooth texture and is the perfect colour for parties, don’t forget she IS going to dress this up with the obligatory bling that every female loves to wear, get mummy to paint her nails and grab a handbag to finish the outfit and keep her cosmetics in (told you she was girly).

Girls Bardot Open Shoulder Skater Dress

I did get the next size up from my daughters actual size as I was unsure of the sizing so here it is on my eldest who is 8.  Interestingly it seems to fit both girls.

My eldest really needs more casual clothing in her wardrobe.  Having been so busy i didn’t realise how little she had so this day wear dress (below) was perfect, she loved it the second it appeared on the computer screen and from the moment it arrived and was given a quick wash she was in it.  It was tricky prising her out of it to get her pj’s on.  Clearly I need some more exciting pj’s.  We loved the style of this dress as it’s not only comfy but also cute.

Then for the shoes.  My youngest liked these:

Girls Shimmer Bow Ballet Shoes

They were perfect to add a lovely Christmassy sparkle to the outfit and seriously if my eldest could decide what she wanted I would have ordered a pair for her too.  She is apparently an Imelda Marcos wanna be as she liked a considerable number of the shoes on the site.  We will need to rethink our approach to that one lol as I don’t have that much space for shoes.

I was extremely pleased to hear that Boohoo has launched this great children’s range and what was quite shocking for me was the reasonable price of items.  Honestly, I thought that Boohoo would be far more expensive so I was extremely impressed.  I also loved the next day delivery option which was so handy.  I ordered on the Wednesday evening and by Thursday evening the parcel was in my hands.  Great for last minute parties and if you discover like I did that certain areas of the wardrobe were lacking items you can get it rectified with minimal effort and at a fabulously fast speed too.  I did look on the site for items for Mr Squishy but it appeared they didn’t have anything for his age but the good thing is that now I know how great a service and how good a quality the clothing is I won’t hesitate to shop from there for my little man and maybe even my big man if he allows it (he thankfully has a mind of his own and a mediocre dress sense).
