Yes! Nurse Hand Cream

Last Wednesday was World Cancer Day so I thought it an appropriate time to mention a hand cream that I recently stumbled across, you will see why soon.  It’s so cold outside that I am struggling to keep drinking water and it’s proving a hard feat to boil water for tea with little man seemingly running on Duracell batteries like his mother.  This poor level of hydration and continuous washing of baby bottles and other items has resulted in my hands becoming very dry.  I had been looking around for a handbag / pocket sized cream that I could have with me on my travels yet every time I have done this in the past after a few weeks they don’t look so great as they seem to collect fluff and god knows what else around part that opens which is a bit yucky to say the least and generally looks something like this:

Yes! Nurse is a company that has been founded by British nurses and the creators of the highly popular award winning ‘Protect Your Lovely Hands’ skincare range.  This February they are launching an exclusive gift product for Valentines and Mother’s Day to help raise funds for Breast Cancer Care.  The exclusive product – a 50ml tube of their bestselling hand cream, and a hand stitched cotton tube cover (just what I needed! and all made in the UK).  These are a great gift for busy ladies and 50p from each tube sold goes to Breast Cancer Care so you can feel doubly happy that you have made a great purchase.

Valentines Super Sleeve

Yes! Nurse is making a name for itself as the brand for ‘social good’, having recently supported 1% for the Planet and certification with Cruelty Free International making its mark as a company that cares.

I gave the cream a try.  The fragrance is not only pleasant, you also do not need to use a large amount to make your hands look and feel moisturised plus it does NOT leave a greasy film / residue on the skin as it soaks straight in.  It left my hands feeling and looking better than they had done in a while which is hardly surprising as it contains Vitamins A, B5 and E and also omega 3, 5, 6 and 9 and no colours, parabens or phthalates.  Yes! Nurse hand cream really is a great find as it possesses a range of great properties: anti-microbial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and anti-septic.  This cream is brilliant, it can help reduce the signs of aging, improve skin elasticity and oil levels which is great as the hands are one of those tale tale areas that give away our age (and we can’t have that now).  I noticed the results were also long lasting as I washed my hands a few times after application yet they still looked better than they hand done prior to use showing that it really does seal in moisture!  I found that the hand stitched cotton tube cover worked best for me this way so now I have a cream that will not be covered in fluff where it opens, yaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy.

This cream will be available to buy from the 16th of February at a RRP of £8.49 per 50ml tube plus Super Cotton Cover from www.yesnurse.co.uk

They are working with Cancer Care and are launching new bottles with a cute heart sleeve.
