Keeping Dads Kissably / Huggably Smooth!

I thought I should write this post as it is coming up to Father’s Day really fast and this is a topic that for me is pretty important for mine and my children’s safety.  I went to hug my husband – nothing out of the ordinary but I’m setting the scene as you will see.  He was sitting down so his head was – well boob height lol.  Not a concern he’s my husband so that wasn’t going to stop me.  I was aware he was stressed about a work matter and knowing full well the therapeutic effects of hugs I went in for the squeeze.  No sooner had I gotten near enough I was spiked in the boob by his bristly beard – Christ almighty that was an unexpected shock I thought the fabric of my top was thick enough to protect me.  Apparently not!  Well many of us learn things the hard way and this was clearly a lesson I had to learn – don’t hug hubby when he has a beard and is boob height.  Obviously there was no point repositioning him and going in for another head hug he was clearly too dangerous to get that close to and a kiss on the lips or cheek was out of the question as I wasn’t planning on being stabbed twice by wild spiky facial hair especially in the face.  So to make daddy’s face a safe zone for myself and the children I decided to give him his Father’s Day present early, he clearly needed it!

The plan – to get him kissably / huggable smooth for me and the kiddies.

Step one:

Shave him.

Hell no I’m not doing it he can do it himself and the EvoShave razor is so simple to use he should manage do do it in no time.  Armed with his EvoShave razor and Nivea Gel for sensitive skin he began on his mission.

Step Two:

Moisturise – super important for everyone after shaving to help replace lost moisture and also as many good moisturisers have soothing / nourishing properties.  My hubby loves his Nivea Aftershave Balm again for sensitive skin.

That’s it all done!

How simple was that and it was over in minutes.  Dad was pleased and so was I.

Mr Squishy was pretty impressed too.

Fancy getting dads / husbands /grandads face as soft and smooth as my husbands?   I can help with the razor part.  I spoke with EvoShave and to help me out with this post they have kindly offered to let me giveaway a Super Dad handle with 4 blades.  For those that haven’t heard of EvoShave before checkout my post Introducing EvoShave.

The Super Dad handles are available for under £6!  Note how I didn’t say Father’s day – because dads are super heroes all the time so these make great additions to gifts whether they are for Father’s Day, birthdays or Christmas or just to say I love you dad here is a super useful gift that will make you think of me each time you use it.  There are also other designs to choose from on the site.
